People are fleeing their homes and homelands, some never to return, others to wait for years before finding a new place to call home. As so many are suffering, it is important not to lose sight of the unique situation women face as they are often deprived of reproductive health care and access to safe abortions. The consequences of unwanted pregnancies and unavailable health care have lead to an average of 507 women and girls dying each and every day. The UN has produced a new report that focuses on the plight of these women and girls and provides an agenda for change.
